The works at Asda Perth had to be carried out in multiple phases to minimise disruption to the public and the operation of the store. Crummock is the Term Maintenance partner for Asda and has many years experience of working in such a demanding environment. All Asda works involve meticulous planning by our highly experienced supervisory staff. In this case including phasing the works to local authority roads as well as the store delivery and exit roads, which also led past the filling station. This detailed planning enabled Crummock to ensure that the phases were handed back on time or earlier and that no disruption was caused to the store or its customers.
The project consisted of civils and surfacing works including: planing off and resurfacing 10,000m2 HRA 55/10 45mm thick in 6 phases. 100 bollards were repainted and 42 crossing points had tactile paving replaced. 134m of drainage channel and 100m2 of concrete slabs were also replaced. The trolley shelters were also refurbished and new signage installed. Whilst on site we also planted 210m2 of new semi berberis plants. Finally the lining in the car park was fully refreshed.
The variety and quality of jobs completed by Crummock's retail team in an Asda car park refurbishment project, demonstrates our capability to deliver these services to any retail or facilities management company.
