Crummock are now actively pursuing numerous opportunities in building and civil engineering projects in various countries in West Africa.

Our efforts and investments were initially rewarded in 2001 with our appointment to carry out a major contract in Equatorial Guinea for Exxonmobil.

In the 9 years we have been working in this field we have had no lost-time accidents.

Further contracts followed in Equitorial Guinea and in 2007 we started a new contract for Esso in Angola.

This work is being conducted offshore, on a very large floating platform. Work involves the renewing of services and maintenance of the living quarters which accomodate around 100 people.

The logistics of the project have been a challenge in themselves as the material required for the contract is sourced from all over the world. The construction phase of the project started at the middle of 2007, and is ongoing.

The project involves teams of expert tradesmen working together, seven days a week to a carefully coordinated programme ensuring minimum disruption to the living quarters which must remain operational throughout the construction process.
